This Advent season, you can help share Christ's transforming love with vulnerable people both in our community and across the world. Your generosity will provide dignity and rest for those seeking healing here in South Bend, while ensuring refugee children in Uganda can continue their education protected from the elements.
At Hope Ministries, transformation begins with creating an environment of safety and grace where deep healing can occur. Through intensive relationships and Christ-centered care, Hope helps people move from pain to purpose. Your gift will provide essential bedding for their residential facilities, ensuring that men, women, and families who come to Hope can experience physical comfort and dignity as part of their journey toward healing. This basic need—a comfortable place to rest—becomes part of the foundation for the deeper work of spiritual, emotional, and relational transformation that happens through Hope's comprehensive programs.

In Uganda, education offers refugee children a pathway to a better future. At New Hope School (one of International Messengers sites) dedicated teachers share both academic knowledge and the love of Christ with students who have fled conflict in South Sudan. However, during rainy seasons, incomplete classroom walls force children to huddle in the center of rooms just to stay dry. Your support will fund critical structural improvements, ensuring these vulnerable children can continue their education year-round—protected from the elements as they learn, grow, and experience Christ's love through dedicated teachers and staff.

Funds raised beyond the $20,000 total goal will go toward a potential future project to create a playground and pickleball courts on the south field—providing a welcoming space for families in our community to gather and connect throughout the week. While still in the dreaming phase, this initiative also includes expanded parking to help accommodate our growing congregation and make room for more people to join us on Sunday mornings.
