Christians often feel stuck when it comes to the Bible. Some have tried reading it before, but it confused them, so they gave up. Others set a huge goal but stumbled a few days in, and their guilt has kept them from picking it back up. So, they are stuck, wanting to grow in their faith, but paralyzed by confusion, guilt, and apathy.

The Bible wasn't meant to burden or confuse you, but without a plan to grow in your practice of reading and responding to God's Word, you'll continue to feel stuck, and miss out on what God has for you.

That’s why we’ve launched…

The Bible is the foundation for this whole journey. We’ve designed a 260-day reading plan that will take you through several books of the Bible during 2024 (Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, portions of the Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Matthew, Mark, Acts).

You'll spend time (approximately 15 minutes) each day (Monday - Friday) in prayer, reading the text for that day, and responding to what God shows you. Each day you will:

  • Start with prayer. Ask God to open your heart to help you understand and receive His Word.

  • Each day, you'll consider questions about what the text says and how it points you to Jesus. You can jot those thoughts down in a journal or notes app (or not, if it’s not your thing).

  • Don't just read it. Put what God has shown you into action!

Bible260 will help you develop a regular practice of daily time with the Lord and will provide accountability to live out what you’re learning in community with a group of other believers.

Join a Bible260 group and enjoy rich community and accountability with other believers as you walk through the Bible together.

We've built Bible260 Groups in three seasons (ranging from 9-13 weeks), allowing you to adjust your experience as needed from season to season.

  • This 10-Week season will cover Deuteronomy and conclude with the gospel of Mark.

  • This 9-Week season will cover Acts and will conclude with Joshua.

  • This 14-Week season will cover 1 and 2 Samuel and will conclude with the first half of gospel of Matthew.

  • The Reading Plan spans all of 2024, but Bible260 Groups are designed with intentional breaks between seasons. This will allow you to stay consistent with your daily time with the Lord while also being able to catch your breath a bit between seasons of your group.

We'll have groups for men, women, as well as mixed groups in three methods.

  • Connect with your group via text (Monday - Friday), sharing about what God is teaching you through the Word and how you will put it into action. Groups are encouraged to gather together in-person once a month.

  • Meet weekly via video (60 minutes) to connect and share what God is teaching you through the Word and how you will put it into action. Once a month, you'll be able to gather and connect with your group in person.

  • Meet weekly (60 minutes) to connect and share what God is teaching you through your daily time and talk about how you will put it into action. Meeting location will be determined by group leader.

These groups are a guilt-free zone. No guilt-trip if you missed a reading or two that week. No judgment if you're just getting started with the Bible. No need to be anxious about having the “right” answers.

Read God's Word. Engage with your group. Grow in your relationship with Him.

Here’s what some of the participants in NT260 (Bible260’s predecessor) had to say about their experience:

A deeper understanding of God’s Word. I’m not just reading the Bible each day, I’m studying it.
Before NT260 I felt overwhelmed when it came to reading the Bible because I didn’t know where to start. I’m very glad I signed up for this because I am learning more about God’s Word every day.
It has given me fresh hunger for God’s word. I have been blessed over and over hearing the insights of others, deepening my desire and awe of God!

Rooted in Scripture.
Ready for life.

For too long, Christians have revered the Bible without actually reading it. Many read it but stop short of living in obedient response to what God's Word teaches. That's a picture of a church with shallow roots and no backbone.

By rooting ourselves in Scripture, we develop spiritual muscle memory that will yield long-term fruit in a world that is rapidly changing. We can be people that are realistic about the struggles and hardships of life, positioned to live out the Gospel in a broken world.

  • This experience will be transformational for the life of our church, so we’re committing a whole year to it. However, we know that some folks may be reluctant to sign on for a year upfront. The season approach allows you to adjust your experience as needed from season to season. Plus, with new folks joining us each week, we want to have opportunities for them to jump on board.

  • 5 days a week (approximately 15 minutes a day). If you miss a day or two, that’s okay! Remember, this is a guilt-free zone so you won’t need to worry about anybody hounding you for missing a day. Take this step and see how God works in your life.

  • ABSOLUTELY! Everybody starts somewhere!! This program is designed to meet you where you are, whether you're a seasoned Bible scholar or you're just getting started. Join us for this journey!

  • ABSOLUTELY! God’s Word is so good that we’re never going to mine the depths of it. Join us for this journey!

  • Many of our existing men's, women's, and existing groups have jumped on board the Bible260 model for 2024. Talk to your group leader to learn more about their plan to be involved (or not) with Bible260 as a group.
