Jim and his wife, Ann, have been married since 1970 and are blessed with three adult children, Cori, Clint (Lenka), and Chad (Anastasia), and their black lab, Juca Bear. Jim has been part of Trinity for 54 years, first attending with Ann in 1972 when the congregation met at Stull United Methodist Church in downtown South Bend while the current building was under construction. Over the years, Jim has participated in numerous group studies, taught Sunday School, and served as a longtime greeter, welcoming visitors and sharing Trinity’s mission. What Jim loves most about Trinity is the variety of church backgrounds represented in the congregation and the sound teaching and preaching of God’s Word. As he steps into this leadership role, Jim is excited to encourage others and bring prayerful insight to the church’s decision-making process. In his free time, he enjoys golf, reading, walking, biking, time with family and friends, and following Notre Dame and IU football.
