Invite Someone This Easter!
We’re expecting God to do big things in lives of people in our community this Easter. Are you ready to invite your friends and family to be with us? Here are a few next steps:
Pause for the next 60 seconds. Close your eyes, quiet your mind, and ask the Lord to put someone on your heart that you might be in a position to invite to join you for worship this Easter.
Take time this week to connect with friends and family (particularly those the Lord just revealed to you) to invite them to join you for an Easter service. If you’d like, there are some example messages to help get you thinking (or you could just copy and paste them into a text or into a new post on your favorite social media platform). If you do copy and paste, just be sure to change the info in the brackets 😉.
"Hey [INSERT FRIEND'S NAME], I know that this has been a tough year for you, but I want you to know that I care about you, and I'm praying for you. I'm really looking forward to celebrating Easter this Sunday at Trinity Church, and I would LOVE for you to join me there! I'll be at the [INSERT SERVICE YOU PLAN TO ATTEND]. No pressure, I just wanted to let you know you're invited. Let me know if you'd like to join me, and I'll get you signed up."
"Life is too precious to be wasted on boring, stale religion. Join me on Sunday for Easter with Trinity and be surprised by God's grace. I'll be at the [INSERT SERVICE YOU PLAN TO ATTEND]. Hope to see ya there! RSVP at www.tefs.org/easter.
