A Special Announcement
-
Greetings, Trinity Church family.
In April, I shared a video update with you about something that our elders and board have been prayerfully considering for some time now—the launch of a second Trinity campus.
Well, I want to begin this update by saying thank you for your prayers, for your patience, and for the positive responses we've received from so many of you since that video update. It's clear that the Lord is stirring something in the hearts of His people, for which we are very grateful.
Today, I want to share an update with you on where we are now in that journey.
One of the things I reported in that April update was that the board had made the decision to hire a full-time pastor this year—someone who would join our Trinity team to help us with discipleship and shepherding responsibilities here on this campus, while also beginning to build a team that would help us take the step of launching another campus.
Well, I'm excited to announce that we've found that person in Jeremiah Clapper.
Some of you already know Jeremiah and his wife, Amy, who have recently become members of Trinity Church. But for those of you who haven't yet had the chance to meet them, you'll be able to learn a little more about them through the bio that's linked below, and you'll also get to hear Jeremiah preach here at Trinity this coming Sunday.
Jeremiah won't officially join the Trinity staff until August, but we wanted you to have the opportunity to meet him and hear him before that transition happens.
The elders and the board are extremely grateful for the way the Lord is bringing Jeremiah onto the Trinity team. The more we've interacted with him and gotten to see his pastor's heart for discipleship, his pioneering spirit, and his vision for reaching people for Christ, the more convinced we become that the Lord has been preparing Jeremiah to join the Trinity team to help us launch this new campus.
Now, that said, there is still a lot we don't yet know about this new campus. We don't yet know where this second campus will be located. We don't yet know exactly who will make up the core group of people who will help us launch this new campus. We don't yet know what every step of this process is going to look like.
Which leads me to some ways I would invite you to pray with us in this season:
Pray for Jeremiah and Amy as they join the Trinity family, and as Jeremiah joins the Trinity staff this August. Pray that the Lord would encourage them and prepare them for this next chapter of life and ministry.
Pray for wisdom and direction as our leadership team seeks the Lord regarding the location of this second campus.
Pray for people who will be willing to be part of the core group of this new campus. We're asking the Lord to stir the hearts of 75 to 100 people to take this step, and we're asking Him to begin stirring those hearts now.
Pray that every decision the leadership makes along this journey will honor the Lord and build up His church.
We shared with you back in April the direction that we sense the Lord leading us. Today, we wanted you to know that we're taking the first step on that journey.
May the one who has saved us and is growing us continue to guide us on that journey for His glory and our good.

Introducing Jeremiah & Amy Clapper
We are delighted to introduce Jeremiah and Amy Clapper, the newest members of our Trinity family. Jeremiah and Amy were recently married this past August and are now building their life together at Trinity. This blended family brings enthusiasm, faith, and a deep commitment to serving God's kingdom.
Jeremiah has deep roots at Trinity — he first began attending in middle school when his family moved to South Bend and his dad became the pastor at Trinity. Jeremiah returned to Michiana from Colorado in 2024 and reconnected with Trinity. Amy joined him shortly after, and the two quickly discovered they shared a passion for faith and community. They were drawn to Trinity through meaningful relationships with the congregation and our commitment to living out God's word in practical ways.
Jeremiah and Amy have 11 children and one grandchild. Amy works as a Nurse Practitioner, bringing compassion and care to her profession, while Jeremiah serves as an outside sales consultant.
Currently, Jeremiah is actively involved in a men's Bible260 group and serves in Trinity Men, while Amy pours her heart into Trinity Kids. What they love most about Trinity is the genuine warmth of the people and the practical way we teach and apply God's Word to everyday life.
Looking ahead, Jeremiah and Amy are excited about seeing the Lord expand Trinity's gospel impact throughout our area and being part of that Kingdom work.
We are blessed to have Jeremiah and Amy as part of our church family and look forward to seeing how God will use them in the days ahead. Be sure to welcome them warmly when you see them around!
