Parking Lot Project Update

Hello Trinity family! I have to tell you that I am pretty excited! Just behind me is some of the big equipment that has begun to arrive here at Trinity in preparation for our parking lot repaving project — the transformation of the “welcome mat” of our church. Actual construction kicks off in just a few days, and we are all so excited! Lord willing, and weather permitting, crews will repave all of the parking areas and driveways over the next two weeks.

We are thankful for the Lord's faithful provision for this project. We're truly grateful for your generosity. And we look forward to seeing how everyone who arrives on our campus will experience a more inviting welcome.

Doing a project of this scale means that we'll have to make some adjustments during construction. Here's what things will look like during the weekdays of Week 1 (June 14-18).

  1. The Walking Track will be closed, but the rest of our building will be open

  2. The only area to park will be in the North lot, closest to Miami Road. The entire South lot and South driveway will be closed.

  3. The only building entrance that will be available during the weekdays is Door “B”, which is the entrance to the main office area.

So, if you need to swing by to connect with a member of our team, enter at the North driveway, park in the North lot — close to Miami Road, and then make your way to the office entrance. Just follow the signs to Door “B".

If you are participating in a scheduled event during these weekdays, please check with your ministry leader to see about specific instructions for your event.

Now, what about next weekend's events and worship services? If work progresses during Week 1 as planned, the usual parking areas and entrances will be available for Saturday and Sunday. The South parking lot will not have a finished surface yet, but it will be usable, and we do not anticipate any disruption if you plan to attend the men's breakfast on the 19th or worship services on the 20th. We'll keep you posted if that plan changes.

So, that covers the details you need to know for Week 1 of construction. Next week, I'll be back with an update about Week 2. Thank you for your patience with us during these exciting two weeks!
