Parking Lot Project Update (Week Two)

Hello Trinity family! Well, Week 1 of our parking lot transformation project is nearly complete — and the progress has been excellent! We are grateful for the beautiful weather this week, and we want to say thank you again to all of you who have helped financially to make this project possible.
As we look ahead to this weekend, and to the second week of the project, here is what you need to know.
First, this weekend. Whether you are attending the men’s breakfast on Saturday or worship services on Sunday, you can park in either parking lot. Even though the striping won’t be on the South lot yet, please continue to observe the signposts for the reserved handicap parking areas. And, as you walk across the unfinished South lot and cross over the curb, please watch your step for safety. Men, when you arrive for the men’s breakfast on Saturday, please park as close to the building as possible to allow for work to continue on the southern side of the South lot.
At this point, the weather outlook indicates a couple of days with rain in the forecast. If we do experience a rainy day or two, the completion of the project will be extended a bit, but our overall plan for Week 2 is essentially the same.
Here's what things will look like during the weekdays of Week 2 (June 21-25).
Both the Walking Track and the rest of our building will be open.
The only area to park will be in the South lot. The entire North lot and northern two driveways will be closed.
The only building entrance that will be available during the weekdays is Door “B”, which is the entrance to the main office area.
So, if you need to stop by during Week 2, enter at the South driveway, park in the South lot along the sidewalk close to the building, and then make your way to the main office at entrance “B".
If you are participating in a scheduled event during these weekdays, please check with your ministry leader to see about specific instructions for your event.
If work progresses during Week 2 as planned, the parking surfaces should be complete by the following weekend, though striping work and topsoil edging may go into the following week.
So, that covers what you need to know for Week 2 of construction. Thank you for your patience as we enter the home stretch of this project to transform the welcome mat of our church!
