Members of this team will build storage racks for Hope Ministries’ donation center. This project will take place at Trinity.

This service project is targeted for families with children of all ages as residents LOVE to interact and play games with kids! Parents and their kids will spend time connecting with residents through various games, activities, and conversation.

Resale to the Rescue is a nonprofit thrift store in Mishawaka that supports local animal welfare organizations. This team will help sort community donations before such goods are placed in the store for sale. 10+ years old.

Cookie Delivery — Mishawaka Fire Department
1:30 pm - 3 pm
Young families will deliver cookies/gift baskets to local Mishawaka fire stations. Kids will have an opportunity to do a tour and get a photo with firefighters.

Cleaning — RETA

RETA is an organization that offers no-cost pregnancy clinic services, mentorship, mental health support, and family resources. This team will be deep cleaning the building. Tasks include dusting, vacuuming, cleaning windows, disinfecting, mopping, and cleaning toys.

Assembling Goodie Bags for Teachers

This is a family friendly project assembling goodie bags for teachers at Mishawaka Elementary Schools. For the youngest kiddos in our church family, we will also have a coloring station to keep the little ones busy!

Can't make it on the day of Serve South Bend but would still like to bless nurses in the community with encouraging words? Volunteers will be provided a take home packet of cards with instructions and examples. Deliver your completed cards to the church by April 25th!

Baking cookies on Friday, May 1 for Mishawaka Fire Department and for our church family to enjoy. Dough will be frozen, so you and your team will be baking the cookies in the Trinity kitchen.

Hannah's House is an organization that offers safe housing and support to pregnant women preparing for motherhood. This team will help support Hannah's House by doing some yard work such as cleaning up flower beds, mulching, and planting.

Donate Items to Support Our Local Community

In addition to the dozens of projects happening around town, we're teaming up with Right to Life to help provide resources for moms. The most needed items include diapers (sizes 4, 5, and 6) and wipes. We will also collect other items for women and children, such as sanitary pads, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, baby soap, and clothing. Items will be dropped off at Trinity between 3/22 and 4/26.
