Facilitate...Don't Teach

  One of the core principles for NT260 is that Scripture is the textbook. I want you to know that as a group leader, we're not asking you to teach. God's Word is going to be doing the teaching. As a leader, you're simply facilitating conversation around what the Word is teaching you and others in your group. Of course, there's an instructive element to what you'll be doing as you model what it looks like to read, reflect and respond to God's Word. But I want us to guard against thinking of these groups as lecture halls for our instruction. Your goal is to model your personal engagement with the Scriptures and see what God does with it. Facilitate a conversation. Let the Word do the teaching.
